Forging Genuine Partnerships
IronCreek is privileged to live and work alongside many different and unique Indigenous communities, organizations, and individuals. And we’re committed to doing more for them, however we can. We believe in pursuing partnerships that make a difference, forging long-term connections that are mutually beneficial, and sharing successes in an equitable fashion. Among our key partnerships is our relationship with the Kehewin Cree Nation, with whom we have worked for many years.
A Vision Gained Through Collaboration
In 2024, IronCreek adopted a new Indigenous relations policy. This policy was the product of careful consultation with Indigenous leaders to ensure a fair, accurate, and most of all meaningful document we can use to focus and strengthen our actions moving forward.
We are redoubling our efforts on an individual and organizational level to establish longer-term partnerships with Indigenous groups, councils, and committees to ensure we effect lasting positive change.

To share responsible business development accounts for Indigenous interests regarding the opportunities and impacts of energy development on communities and on their traditional and current uses of lands and resources.
Land Acknowledgement
We at IronCreek gratefully and respectfully acknowledge that our head office in Cochrane, Alberta, is situated on Treaty 7 territory. This territory contains the traditional lands of the Iyethka peoples of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney Bands; the Tsuut’ina; the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) peoples of Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai Bands; and the North West Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous Peoples. We furthermore acknowledge that our work and services are frequently employed on lands and territories belonging to other Indigenous Peoples and traditional inhabitants, and pledge to respect their histories, cultures, and beliefs with equal honesty and commitment.
